Indeed, showrunner Michael Patrick King recently hinted another season of “And Just Like That…” was a possibility if the stars were into the idea, and there were more stories to tell about their characters (via Cheat Sheet). But now, even though Noth’s character, Mr. Big, died during the first episode of the “Sex and the City” reboot, a second season is clearly in jeopardy given the shadow cast by the allegations against him.

Over on Twitter, fans are angry that Noth’s alleged assaults are ruining the future of the show, with one person angrily tweeting in part, “They have ‘stopped talking’ about renewing the series because of an actor whose character was killed off in the first episode.” But other Twitter users noted that reviews of “And Just Like That…” have not been very favorable and the Noth scandal may actually have nothing to do with whether or not the HBO Max series gets picked up for a second season.
